| Internal Evaluation Workshop in Oulu 14.4.2010 |
The primary task of the Vi r Music venture’s internal and external evaluation was to examine the project’s activity and structure, mirroring these against project objectives. The evaluation’s purpose was to clarify current progress and what chances the project has of achieving its objectives. The external evaluation offered recommendations on how to support project activity, as well as considerations for future ventures.
General findings:
- Kemi-Tornio’s coordination work has been very satisfactory.
- Project openness and transparency have been rigorously maintained.
- Dividing project tasks to 4 WP’s logical and well-acting
- Prior collaboration, contacts and knowledge in area of virtual music education well exploited
- Despite some personnel changes, project carried out as planned
Suggestions for development, observations
- English as a common language is challenging
- Some bureaucracy between Norway and EU-members, overlapping applications, Helsinki located participators
- The venture needs to find a licencing system for audio and video recordings and publishing reasonable for all participants
- Essential to find flexible support measures that support small organisations unable to assign project responsibility to a staff member
Project reporting
There were four reporting periods in the Vi r Music project. The final report consists of the Administrative Report and the content of www.virmusic.net.
